Under this working group the focus will be on Chapter 19: Social Policy and Employment and Chapter 2: Free Movement of Workers. Employment is one of the priorities to be developed and promoted by Albanian institutions. While there is progress on increasing labour market participation and increasing of capacities of labour institutions, Albania faces various challenges like: high unemployment, informal economy and difficulties in implementing the social policies.
