Increased budget transparency and accountability in the Justice system through monitoring and research
This component aims to enhance transparency and accountability within the Albanian justice system by focusing on budget management and financial transparency. It works to monitor how public funds are allocated and spent within the justice system, identifying gaps and proposing solutions to improve budget transparency and public oversight. The goal is to equip civil society organizations (CSOs), media, and justice institutions with the necessary tools and knowledge to better understand and engage with the justice system’s budgeting process. This helps ensure that resources are used efficiently and responsibly, contributing to a more accountable justice system aligned with EU standards.
